NUTRITION MATTERS

Vegetables provide our bodies with important macronutrients (carbohydrates) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) to help us feel, work, and play at our best.

Keep it interesting by incorporating lots of variety. A rich assortment of veggie colors provides a wider range of nutrients and might even introduce you to your new favorite veggie.

HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS

  • Registration opens April 1.
  • The 7-day challenge runs from April 14-20. You’ll use your Sprout at Work account to participate.
  • Track “veggies” each time you enjoy a serving of vegetables. Your goal is to track at least 3 servings each day. Try to include at least one serving with each meal to help ensure you are providing your body with the fuel it needs.
  • How colorful can you make your plate? Share a photo of your veggie plate or feel free to share your favorite recipe(s) to the challenge stream.
